Confirmed from Sheiffer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
An 87-acre wooded regional park known for its winter activities & nature trail.
What runners say about Sheiffer Park
“You will definitely enjoy all the kind folks and the beautiful nature.”
To clarify the 1-star review, the best place to park is on the northbound lane of wright road (the westernmost side of the park from the aerial view.) The empty space on the right of the bike lane is a legal parking space. A trail that leads to the main loop is located past the sidewalk, with a small sign.
This is a beautiful place to hike, especially in the fall! The sledding hill is amazing in the winter
Great scenery, BUT directions from Google maps leads you to a dead-end. So don't make that initial right turn, keep going straight then make a right turn drive another 1 mile and you'll find the designated parking area. Be mindful you will now have to walk back a mile to enter the trail safely around the huge ponds.
Very nice, quiet, calm scenery. Paved sectuon of the ice age trail is popular but not overwhelmingly so and there are some short offroad trails as well. Plenty of benches for those that need to rest too.

“Nice big, wide hill, a bit sheltered from the wind, and only a short walk from a parking lot on Huntington.”
