We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Shorebird Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Shorebird Park
“Quiet when I visited but has great air near the Bay, a fitness section, picnic tables, benches and clean restrooms.”
“Long smooth beautiful trail with clear sightlines and good facilities.”
Go to spot to run the bay trail. Check out the outdoor fitness court. They have a QR code for you to skin so you can figure out the different ways that you can work out here. Picnic benches, shade awnings bathrooms. Lots of parking spots. Get out there and check it out
Cool spot to walk your dog around, clean restrooms and clean park. Everyone is always nice, never had issues in the many many years I’ve been coming here. There’s a nice exercise area and it’s right by the levy. Coyotes do come out when it gets dark so I’d keep an eye out for that, especially if you have a smaller dog.
Cute tiny park. Has some exercise equipment and a shaded picnic area. Can't see much because of Foster City's pride "the levee" blocking bay views and it's next to a fairly busy street. There are bike paths nearby. Plane spotting is good, planes landing to SFO almost overhead.
Constructions are around for a while. The park is the only open area. Nice to walk your dogs, workout or relax. There are tables for picnics too.
