Confirmed from Shoreline Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park with picnic tables and public restrooms, popular for walking, biking, and kite flying.

It's a lovely place to go for a walk - alone, with a friend, or your dog(s). There's a great view of San Francisco, and on a day like today you can see the layer of pollution over the city and a long line of container ship waiting to dock and deliver their goods.
Pleasant surprise! Both paved and gravel trails along the water for walking or biking. Super peaceful and chill. Restrooms are also available which is always a bonus!
Fed the squirrels my leftover mini churros from Jack in the crack down the street. They went nuts for it… ha get it? Anyways nice views. Sun up or down. Don’t let The small one with half a tail fool you she’s Queen Cinnamon. She looks sweet but she had her squirrelvilians bombard me. Don’t be a fool like me.
Trail conditions & character
“The views of the bay, with SF and the peninsula across it, and those of the area around Alameda Beach are always breathtaking (to this reviewer, at least).”
“Incredible view, plenty of parking, spacious green, clean restrooms.”
“It's much quieter than the other parks in Alameda with easy free parking at the ferry terminal.”
