We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Siltstone Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Got to enjoy a pre-backpacking exercise trip along Siltstone Trail my whole body was ready except for my shoulders. The trail it self was well kept and very clean. Tom Wallace Lake is technically but was rushed on time and didn't take any other pictures of the trail that is on my to do for next time.

★★★★☆ — Leslie , Aug 2020

Probably the best local trail with elevation. Nothing really technical about it except getting past the blow-downs, but the 13 mi distance of endless up/downs makes for a cardio challenge. Scenery is nice throughout, but no real points of interest.

I love this trail personally. It is nice and a good workout. Many said they liked it second to RRG. In this case I would say you should try the Knobstone Trail in southern indiana.
