We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Silver Comet Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Silver Comet Trail
“Great trail to walk, run, bike or just sit and relax.”
Great path for walking, running, biking or skating. It is paved and pretty flat. It is also well covered with trees to keep the direct sunlight off you.
Great trail to walk, run, bike or just sit and relax. Its cool tree canopy alone most of the trail provide relief on those extremely hot Georgia days.
Best trail for long distance cycling without constantly dodging dogs and pedestrian.
Very well maintained and pretty flat for GA. Can definitely put in the miles here.
