Confirmed from Silver Lakes Rotary Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil locale featuring two lakes, walking trails, picnic areas and lots of iguanas.
What runners say about Silver Lakes Rotary Nature Park
“Went here to fish before our flight, didn't catch anything but the park is beautiful and the maintenance crew was there cutting the grass.”
“Especially when you want to walk your dog in the shade around the lake during this South Florida heat.”
“Quiet and clean park right behind the hardrock just north of Stirling road against the turnpike.”
My friends and I take the dogs here every so often. Nice place to just walk around and enjoy nature. Good amount of shade.
I loooove this park sooo sooo sooo muuuch!! So many fish in the lake in the back and the trails are so nice! Even a path to a canal in the back by the turnpike, need offroad vehicle to access. Very few people come here as well. Very quiet and peaceful once you get past the humming of the turnpike.
Nice shaded walk around a lake. Beware though, there is a resident gator in the lake that we unexpectedly walk close to and it scared the bejusus out of us. Be careful and stay away from the water 🙏
Nice quiet spot surrounded by pine trees. Has a nice walking trail, bathrooms.. benches where you can sit and relax. And of course fishing butno swimming. It's a nice place over all.
