Confirmed from Sims Lake Park Suwanee's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Featuring a 7-acre lake, this park offers a looping trail, playground, open meadows & picnic spots.

One of my favorite parks (minus the need for more parking). There is a large covered playground area, large lake (no fishing), picnic tables, lots of benches, clean restrooms, and lots of paved trails in the sun & shade. I see a lot of photographers out there doing family & graduation pictures.
This park is always beautiful. Especially when a rare snow this year. Clean and well maintained. Not too big not too small, it’s right size for family walking into the wood.
We love visiting this park any time of year. There is a paved path that circles around the lake. Several benches to sit and enjoy the view. There is also a wonderful playground for kids and restrooms nearby. May 2022. Haven't been here in about 3 years. The park is just as wonderful as before.
Beautiful park with good trails for walking around. Love the lake and the walk around it. Various trees, animals and birds. Good parking lots, restrooms, play area and many seating spaces. There were many signs saying not to feed the animals, yet saw some throwing food in the lake.
