We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sims Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

We used to drive 45 minutes north to Sims because it was the best. Now we've moved and 4 years later were still driving 45 minutes south to go to Sims! It's a beautiful park. It's a huge park that's beautifully landscaped and has everything you could need in a park.

BEAUTIFUL PARK! The playground has a nice rubber turf to protect the kids from falling, small splash area, beautiful walks, bridge, exercise/workout area and more. Almost all the areas have sun shade Canopies. Awesome place for adults and kids. 5/10/2022 Adding more photos The more I visit the more I love this park.

Beautiful riverside park tucked in amongst all kinds of shops, dinners, and bars. A very relaxing break from the day. They have a historical society and a stage on the grounds. The park was huge and there were a lot of kids having a blast. I enjoyed just walking around while I was waiting to meet someone downtown.

We’ve been going to Sims since before they were a year old! It’s only a few minutes from where we live which makes it very convenient! There’s so much to do here, the playground has a bunch of different activities for all ages, it’s very interactive.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
