Confirmed from Sister Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed refuge featuring a dog park and various family-friendly bike and hiking trails. Picnic areas.

Sister Grove Park – A Hidden Gem for Hikers & Bikers Sister Grove Park is an absolute hidden gem. The first time I visited, I was pleasantly surprised to find real hiking trails tucked into such a small footprint. There are three main trails, plus a “puppy loop” for the fur baby walks.
Really nice trails with good views. My pup loved it. Try to avoid this place after a rain or you’ll have mud all over everything.
This is a great place for bikes as the trails are specifically for bikes. It's nice to hike too. I mostly stuck to the Safari and Lake loops. They were very shaded, which was nice. I also came on a Friday morning and only saw two people total, and no bikers.

“We especially love the exposed tree root systems and the ups and downs along the path—they test your balance, keep your endurance up, and make the hike more interesting.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
