Hiked about 3.5 miles of this trail. Low areas have deep horse hoof ruts. Next time will wear long pants as some poison ivy along path. Looking forward to hiking again in the fall.
A nice trails with a few good overlooks. But, the trail supports a lot of horse traffic and they absolutely tear the trail up. Extremly muddy in sections.
It's a very well marked trail with several different spots to get on. You can hike, ride horses, or Mountain bike this trail. It's torn up in some spots because of the horses so watch your footing.
I ran this trail at a really tough point in my life. It was there for me. I'm willing to guess it can likely be there for you too. Keep going.
