Confirmed from Smolen-Gulf Covered Bridge's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring the world's longest covered bridge and other wooden spans.
What runners say about Smolen-Gulf Covered Bridge
“Beautiful six hundred and thirteen foot long bridge , about one hundred feet above the creek below definitely worth going to check out!”
This is a great way to spend your day off you want a relaxing walk. It's beautiful ❤️
Beautiful bridge... If your close by, it's a definite must see. Very pretty scenery when walking over the bridge. Don't forget to drive to the bottom parking lot as well so you can walk to the other people or horse only covered bridge. The area was also kept very clean and manicured.
Absolutely gorgeous views from these beautiful bridges. You can walk the bottom bridge with no traffic crossing. There is a walkway on both sides of the big bridge because it is heavily traveled by vehicles. The creek below is shallow enough to walk through.
Neat bridge to visit as a family from out of state. Nice park underneath with a walking bridge you can snap some great family or kid pics. Worth a stop if you are in the area
