Confirmed from Trail Start - Western Reserve Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Depending on which part, we got to ride the trails snowmobiling and had a blast, great winter scenery.

★★★★★ — Garry , Mar 2025

Beautiful trail and very well maintained. It's mostly flat and rural, but important to note there are quite a few road crossings. The one in Austinburg was a little tricky to get across being a busy road, but otherwise they're generally quiet roads.

★★★★★ — Nick , Aug 2021

South goes to Rock Creek, Roaming Shores and beyond. Nice open space with plenty of sun. Trail slowly emerges you into a more quiet simple atmosphere that offers much quiet personal time to refresh and recharge. North is more dense and shaded.

★★★★☆ — V. , Jan 2019

This is a beautiful place to walk/ hike and just enjoy a little peace and quiet.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
