What runners say about Snead Farm Loop Trailhead
A nice trail very close to the visitor center and parking lot. It’s well maintained and marked it’s not difficult although it’s one of those trails that feels like you’re always walking uphill. Spring is a good time to see flowers in bloom and there were so many butterflies.
Parked on the Dicky Ridge visitor center, From Fox Hallow trailhead, went on the right side, and started the hike on Snead Farm Dicky Ridge loop trail from there. Absolutely beautiful!
Great hike without too many people on the trail. Some of the other more popular trails will be packed on the weekends in good weather. Only place to park is off the side of the road but that discourages too many other hikers.
Walk is nice and easy.. wide path for most of the way and a nice view half way round.
