We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of South Mojave Riverwalk yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about South Mojave Riverwalk
“Great peaceful beautiful desert walk 5mi+”
“Great for walking, running, skating, scooting or cycling.”
It was a nice trail to go to on the weekends for a quick bike ride. There were a medium amount of people on the weekend but during the week there were not many people. The view is pretty boring though and you can't take too many people with you.
Very nice path, starts aside the mall and heads south for miles. Flat, smooth, wide. Great for walking, running, skating, scooting or cycling.
It is a great path for a 5K+ walk/jog/bike. Sunset scenery is beautiful.
Checked mileage, according to google it’s 2.75 miles in one direction.
