Confirmed from Eva Dell Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational area with softball fields & a playground, plus grassy, shaded area for picnics.
What runners say about Eva Dell Park
“Bathrooms for women are clean, but stable seating, meaning the doors are not tall, so the privacy factor is out and if your tall.”
“close to a shady Oasis camp ground.”
This park is in the hood, but it is one of the best kept parks in the High Desert. You can catch a softball game, or shoot some hoops, or take a walk along the skid row boardwalk that is the Mojave River Trail.
Great park in a shaded area. There's a second park about 200 meters away, but it doesn't have shade coverage. Shade parking for vehicles. Just be aware of your surroundings, undesirables sometimes come near the area.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
