There are bike trails lined with tall trees and bamboo, which also provide shade to the playground equipment. It does get very muddy between the bike trails and bridge area, where the playground equipment and gazebo with picnic tables are.
Nice park adjacent to sports fields. Playground and a stream with trails.
amazing place to walk your dog or explore nature. sometimes there’s deer or foxes wandering around. less and less as they’re doing stuff by the highway though. cute playground too and picnic area.
Good change of pace from other parks... Decent basketball court, watch for the ditch behind one basket, can be tricky, but way better than Dunn Loring park court. Access to paths is great.
