Confirmed from Spine Trail Loop's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Spine Trail Loop
“The hike was easy/moderate and had beautiful views and maintained trails.”
I didn't dare hike this alone without proper protection but boy did I want to! It was very remote, beautiful and absolutely no one was there. You have to drive back some unmaintained roads which turn into a wild west type trail. It was absolutely gorgeous. I didn't stay simply because it was so remote and I was alone.
This trail head is located at the Casa Grande Mountain Park entrance. It is safe and there are plenty of other hikers and mountain bikers. The exact trail location is better found on All Trails. The hike was easy/moderate and had beautiful views and maintained trails.
