Confirmed from Spirit Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Spirit Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (299 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 17 mentions

“A very clean, well-developed, friendly, safe, secluded park that has plenty of space and amenities for all the favorite park activities and sports.”

🌳 shaded & cool 7 mentions

“Even though the slides have shade cover later in the day the slides still get extremely hot be careful my wife burned her back really bad going down the slides with our son.”

Something for everyone. Dog friendly with free waste removal bags in several locations. A walking path that includes exercise stations including a leg press machine, back exercise, and chest press. Tennis and basketball courts, extensive shaded children’s play area and equipment of virtually every kind.

Definitely coming back to this park. It has a little bit of everything but enough room to fit everything. Basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, tables with shade structures in grassy area, plenty of water fountains, enough space to let dogs run around without bothering other park visitors, and a pathway around…

Well maintained and clean park. There are two playgrounds and two sets of swings for toddlers and older kids. The restrooms are just off the playground. There are a few picnic tables with shade. There are also some benches to sit and watch kids play. There are walking trails, basketball courts and tennis courts.

Great park for ages tot and up (swings and walking trails for olders) ladies who come mid morning to clean bathrooms do a great job. There are basketball courts too. Safe area to watch kids. Covered play areas and covered picnic areas. I come once a week to meet with a moms group for encouragement.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 11 mentions

“Some notable things: every single time I’m here no matter what day there’s always people cleaning in the restroom, which is deeply appreciated.”
