Confirmed from Spring Creek Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Spring Creek offers very nice, clean trails for hiking and biking. I would rate this as a good place for novice riders. They also have a few bridged creek crossings. I have found that these trails can connect to Flintridge Trails/ George Mitchell Preserve.
I love this nature trail! It is great for long bike rides or very long hikes. Lots of wildlife that you can see if you look closely. Be mindful of the small lakes and ponds though. I have seen multiple alligators, especially around the Beaver Lake/Turtle Pond (I can never remember the name of small lake.
Nice large park. Tons of shade. They have 8 miles of trails inside the park for hiking and mountain biking. Those trails also extend mile's outside the park. Best part is, they are dog friendly on the trails. They also have a lake and a dog park. BBQ pavilions, Playing fields, you name it.
Update: I'm not sure when it happened, but a bird blind was added to the trail and while I'll not a birder, it's a really cool addition (see photos for details) in a really cool spot on the trail!
Trail conditions & character
“This trail is well populated by hikers and bikers and offers lots of shade and spots to view birds and fauna.”
“To get to the blind, get on the trail opposite of the main trail off the parking lot (the side of the lot where you have to hop over the wire fence and hike for about a mile.”
“We ran into an alligator by the end of a trail so please respect nature and keep your distance, but most importantly, keep your dogs on a leash.”

“All most all of the trail is single track with just a handful of challenging spots if you don’t have a true mountain bike, but overall very manageable even on our fat tire bikes.”
