Confirmed from Spring Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Spring Lake Park
This elegantly manicured park in a relatively quiet residential neighborhood forms the backdrop for bicycle polo tournaments, among other things. There are numerous amenities, including picnic shelters (with electrical outlets) which may be reserved in advance by calling the city.
My favorite park in Mankato. I also use it as my free gym everyday for my walk. A bunch of different birds especially in the spring including Canadian geese, red-winged black birds, robins, cardinals, blue herons, and more. From the hiniker pond parking lot and two times around, I get a nice 2 mile walk.
A great place to walk and enjoy mother nature. Hike up the Mary Circle trail across from the volley ball pits to go to Bluff Park too!
