Free city park! Phenomenal. Lots of short trails, beach access points, and even parking. Went on a foggy Saturday morning and had much of the trail to myself. It was a wonderful intro to PNW outdoors.
This has long been one of my favorite parks in Olympia WA. It's got a wonderful beach that goes for miles. You can always find lots of ducks and some osprey chirping about. The park is filled with lots and lots of trees and they have a playground for the kids.
Nice park to visit. Has a fun pirate ship themed playground. Great for kids and doggos. Walking path to beach is a nice pathway (gravel). On the beach area it is more muddy vs sand and some areas you can easily sink in.
I was actually driving to a different park and I just stumbled on this park on my way to the other park and this is a really beautiful park it seems to have some old growth trees and a lot of trails and you can't get lost on these trails. There are maps there and I took pictures of them.
