We did a quick hike on part of the lake view trail. It was pretty steep in parts but was worth the view! Lots of pretty wildflowers. Would definitely have loved to hike the whole trail.
I was only passing through and wanted to hike. There were a lot of people for early spring. I was a bit disappointed about there being only one hike that was a bit longer than I’d hoped. I went anyway. My all trails tracker showed when I was done it had been over 5.
We love standing stone park. When I was little this was our go to park for birthdays, family reunions, or just to play. Now as an adult I enjoy it just as much. Fishing, hiking,grilling out, so many things to do. Def recommended taking the family!
Visited in mid April. Hiked about 1 mile and saw 36 different TN native species in bloom. Several areas along the path are just covered with trilliums, shooting stars, or Spiderwort. SO beautiful. Definitely going back next spring.
