Confirmed from Starkey Park Bike Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park with paved trails, a playground, picnic tables, shelters and pavilions.
What runners say about Starkey Park Bike Trail Head
“Beautiful, serene, and clean park, many toilets at different stops and surprisingly clean.”
“Thank you for maintaining such a beautiful space that brings so much peace and meaning to the people who walk these trails every day.”
I love walking and cycling at this park for decades I see turtles and deer most every time. Rangers are always friendly and helpful
A great place to start a ride. Parking, restrooms, a picnic pavilion, and a drinking water fountain can be found here. The entire main paved bike trail is well signed and is 6.5 miles long, with many side paths along the way that are not as well maintained.
I must have gone the wrong way or didn't stay long enough because I mostly saw bike trails and bike trails and more bike trails. I'll look for the hiking trail next time I go. Beautiful, serene, and clean park, many toilets at different stops and surprisingly clean.
One of my favorite places to go. They have hiking trails as well as an all purpose paved trail that goes out to the suncoast trail. You will see people on bikes, walking, jogging running, rollerblades, etc. There is plenty of wildlife to look at.
