Confirmed from Start of Minuteman Bike Path's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Start of Minuteman Bike Path
The Minuteman Commuter Bikeway is a paved, 11 mile segment of Greater Boston’s 50 mile Minuteman Trail. One of the best features, in my opinion, is its proximity to alewife Station, which is something to consider if you need to commute to a trail using the T.
little less than a mile from Alewife Station, ending in Belmont. passing Reservation pathway and board walk.
Some maintenance at the entrance of the bike path with no clear signs on where to detour. Also the path from the Cambridge side needs some fixing. Too many holes
Love biking and walking in this area. The closest to nature you can get within Camberville
