Confirmed from Stimpson Family Nature Reserve Access Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Surround yourself with the vertical wisdom of giant Fir trees. Hike is suitable for all capabilities.
Easy to access loop trails near Sudden Valley. Great for brief walk/hikes in nature. I saw families and trail runners as well as walkers. The shorter loop is the Geneva Pond Loop 2.0 miles long. Both loops make a 4 plus mile loop.
We loved taking this trail. However, I have no concept of distance in a forest where I can't get a sense of direction. We got off the trail before we should have. The signs give mileage based on a circular path. We wound up in a residential area and walked back on paved streets to get back to entrance.
One of my favorite walking trails. You can see huge Douglas Firs and varied terrain, while being only minutes from the City. When you are on the trail, you feel like you are miles away for society. Very beautiful and a gem in the Bellingham area.
