Perfect trailhead to start biking the skylines and skyline amphitheatre trail . Must stop for best sunsets in Rapid City. On a Rainy day do enjoy thr passing clouds and the frequent rainbows
Great view, nice bathrooms, easy access to trails. Only issue I have is that it is a very popular spot. Thus, there is a lot of graffiti and broken bottles near the trailhead from disrespectful people. It's also annoying how many people like to blast their music when other people are trying to enjoy the views.
Lots of switchbacks. Beautiful trees and rock formations. Lots of trail options 🤗
Worth the drive up to trailhead & lookout. The trail was muddy and slippery from the melting snow so we didn't get very far, but we'll try again.
