Confirmed from Stoney Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational area known for its walking trails and disc golf course.
What runners say about Stoney Creek Park
“We were happy to find the dog park on the backside and a close to clean bathroom near it.”
This is a small local park located in Goldsboro. There are disc golf baskets located here but you would need to bring your own Frisbee. I have heard this called a dog park as well. We didn't see any dogs the day we were there. There are both paved and dirt/grass walking paths.
Nice walking park. Really scenic walk around the area, perfect for joggers or even people on bikes. Me and my kids enjoy taking the wall every once in a while and then playing in the small play area next to the bathrooms which are also nice for it being a public park.
Nice park to run, walk, kids to play, dog park, Frisbee Golf, beach volleyball, etc. A good place to go to be outside and move
Great natural environment to bring family that prefer the outdoors over city parks. Convenient place for parking. Hiking Trails, disc golf throughout the park, reasonable sized sandbox for smaller kids,

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
