We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sullivanville Dam yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed and quiet area for hiking and leisurely strolls, with opportunities for fishing.
What runners say about Sullivanville Dam
“Beautiful, with lots of room to walk, fishing opportunities, wilderness adventures, and geocaching opportunities.”
This is a nice place to walk with a few geocaches in the vicinity if you're willing to bushwhack. We did find a mailbox and a shoe with moss growing out of the lacing holes in the woods...
Was a great walk with my family. Pond was beautiful had lots of lilly pads with those beautiful white flowers! Would recommend!
Three key points about the dam. #1. Beautiful vistas, esp during fall. #2 Not many people around, zen central. #3. Ticks. Yuck. Particularly on the lower trail that goes through the forest and onto the old road. Tick central so be aware. Up on the dike walk there are less of those buggers.
Short network of trails but good for tracking and seeing evidence of beaver activity. A nice relaxing walk though nature.
