Confirmed from Sunrise Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sunrise Valley Park
“Clean and well kept park, pickleball courts, nice bathrooms, and access to a little river playing”
“Wish there was some shade for parents to sit under but overall a nice place.”
It's a beautiful, grassy park, with a covered picnic table area and several picnic tables and benches to sit on throughout. It has a nice playground for the kiddos, a horseshoe bike or walking trail around the park, restrooms, electricity, water fountains, and parking with handicapped parking available, too.
A great local park with basketball, pickle ball / tennis courts and a playground. Easy access to biking trails and easy river access.
A great park, next to the River Trail. I love the shaded picnic pavilion!! Lots of amenities, including a playground, tennis/pickle ball courts and basketball 1/2 courts. My only complaint: too much grass for the desert. I’m glad it’s not my water bill
It's a nice park, not too busy when we were there. Took the dogs for a walk and had lunch down by the River. Lots of sandy area. Has bike path. Large open grassy area. Not a lot of shade.
