Confirmed from Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Sporty playground with a timed obstacle course and a 40m racing area.

What runners say about Canyon Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (267 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

This place is AMaZing! Obstacle courses with timer. Race track. Huge slides. Walking trail near by. Slides. Climbing toys. We loved it.

★★★★★ — Amy , Dec 2022

Timed obstacle courses. Huge double sets of slides. Fun kid/family friendly park. Restrooms on site. Hiking path down the canyon.

★★★★★ — Eric , Oct 2022

This should be called ninja Park! There is a 40m race track that has auto timers for the runners as well as a timed ninja course that times you. We had a ton of fun racing and competing against our own times. There are also giant slides that lead down to a sandy area with all sorts of climbing ropes and rocks.

★★★★★ — Emily , Feb 2023

We were staying in Washington for a soccer tournament, and I found this place, because I was looking for a place to walk. The trail that is right next to this park is fantastic. I went walking there every morning and loved it. I took my kids back there on the last day, and they thought the playground was really cool.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
