We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sunset Bay Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sunset Bay Park
“Nice walking area ,great views of Ontario Lake, great fishing boat better than shore.”
“Nice , quiet , and relaxing spot .”
Beautiful place built by the town of scriber for the residents of the town to use as a boat launch and a barbecue picnic place, also a nature walk and beautiful views of Lake Ontario, 9 Mile point in Mexico Bay
A very nice and quiet place! The lake view is beautiful and not as windy as in other, more open spots. I like how it's not crowded. People often come to walk their pets here or just to stay at the lake for a little while, so there is traffic in and out, but it's not busy. Grills are clean and ready to use.
Great lil boat ramp (dual), maintained park upkeep pretty good, $100 permit for boat ramp use. Closes Sunset . . . Supposedly. Nice walking area ,great views of Ontario Lake, great fishing boat better than shore.
Would be a great park if someone from PARK MAINTENANCE/ SERVICE would answer his phone . We could go in , walk around but needed information . Nobody answers the phone
