Confirmed from Sunset Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large park boasting 3 baseball enclosures, as well as basketball and volleyball courts.
What runners say about Sunset Park
“The grounds were clean and safe, the equipment was in great condition.”
Sunset Park really has it all. You want to shoot some hoops? The basketball court is right there. Tennis is your jam? There's a couple courts set up. Children riled up? There's a playground there to tire them out. Wanting to play volleyball with your friends to emulate the Top Gun scene? Boom!
Great park.. I can. Walk on the path and let my kids play in the playground that I can pretty much see at all times. It's a decent park for the area with public restrooms but they were soaked when we went to visit. So much so that we hated using them. It looked like someone just took a hose in there and left it.
Cute park! My kid wanted to go to a nearby park, & this was perfect. There's benches around the trees for a nice breezy, shade.
This park has been around forever. I played there when I was a kid. When the big rocket was there. The equipment has changed but it's fun and in great shape. I wish they still had the barrel that you could stand on and run. My granddaughters had so much fun playing in the sand on the volleyball court.

“You and your dog can go run around and play fetch at the baseball field (don't quote me on the dog part because not sure about the rules on that).”
