Confirmed from Sunset Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with a botanical garden, gazebo, ball fields & picnic shelters, plus BBQs & tennis courts.

Beautiful and commemorating Salina Kansas and all Veterans of every US war. There are picnic tables and pavilions for families and a basketball court and baseball field close by.
It’s an amazing park with walking trails, waterfalls and ponds, playgrounds, free books and picnic areas for everyone to enjoy. Bathroom facilities are available and the people who you meet walking 🚶 are always friendly and welcoming! Come to Salina, Kansas and enjoy their park system and enjoy!
Lots of shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. A nice place to eat your lunch, read a book or shoot some hoops. Bike riding, jogging or walking this is the park for me.
Sunset has always been a beautiful park. My sons love playing at the playground, as well as my boyfriend & I love walking the new trails they have.
