Confirmed from Sunset Parkway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sunset Parkway
This place must've been redone. I came April 2023. This playground is awesome. A lot of climbing equipment. Tall slide! They have two benches under a shade. There is so much open land behind the playground. Perfect for playing and picnics. Walk the path and it'll lead you to the dupage river trail!
Nice little park with access to the DuPage River Trail. There's a large grassy area where kids can play sports too.
Nice little park with a connecting trail to dupage River parkway. Great place to ride a bike
Love this park! So much open land to play and a nice trail to walk along!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
