Confirmed from Sussex Village Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“whether playing on the playground, running around the splash pad, shooting some hoops, or just taking a walk, this park is fun and clean with a friendly vibe.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“Very nice and awesome park for all ages.”

This is hands down the coolest park I’ve been too in a long time! Wisconsin has some great parks but this one just tops them! The amount of creative ways for kids to explore and run their energy out is amazing. So many different activities it’s endless fun.

Use this park as a trailhead to get on the Bugline rail trail. Park was under snow, but the rail trail was great. Everything you would expect in a rail trail as it leaves a suburban area and gets more into the sticks. Lots of wildlife, including deer and owl, and did not disappoint.

Always enjoy our time here!...whether playing on the playground, running around the splash pad, shooting some hoops, or just taking a walk, this park is fun and clean with a friendly vibe.

Fun safe park with plenty to climb, ride, slide and play on for toddlers +. Basketball, tennis, hiking trails and disc golfing.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 4 mentions

“Basketball courts, huge safe playground, restrooms open year round (they are heated!”
