Confirmed from Swan Creek Preserve Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Forested park with a playgrounds & miles of scenic trails plus a creek with a swinging bridge.
What runners say about Swan Creek Preserve Metropark
“Clearly marked and very well maintained.”
“I love all of our Metroparks but this one is close to the house, not as busy as Wildwood not as buggy as Secor lol beautiful trails for walking , rollerblading or bike riding.”
Swan Creek preserve Metropark is among the top beautiful parks in Toledo Metropark district. It is a lush green with many beautiful walking trails. If you love deer and want to see them, then this is the place where you may find hundreds of them when it starts to get dark or early in the morning. Loved to be there
Beautiful park. I recommend walking with another person. A creep was there while I was walking with my pup. I ended up calling 911 and a park ranger came before I could even hang up. A good reminder to always keep your eyes open and your head on a swivel!.
It’s been a few years since I visited Swan Creek, and I was not disappointed. Walking to the Swing Bridge was an adventure —- there are numerous trails leading to this magical space. The playground is perfect for children to play and enjoy challenges without realizing that they are being challenged.
Swan Creek is a nice park w lots of big beautiful trees, hills, and swamps inside the woods. It's NW Ohio's best park in my opinion. Good for off and on road biking. No restrictions.
