Confirmed from Tallwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🐕 dog-walking favorite 5 mentions

“I work out here, I meditate, and people bring their lovely dogs for walks all the time and there's a nice little basketball court in the back.”

They installed 2 brand new pieces of exercise equipment. You can do MULTIPLE exercises on each piece. (See picture below). I would love to walk my dogs there since there often are shady areas. Although it's not a dog park, many people let there dogs run around off leash.

This narrow park is an interesting piece of Melbourne history. You would never know the train used to run from Tampa straight through those trees. There is an exercise course for light workouts and it is a nice walk around the park. Hidden in the back are basketball courts.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
