Confirmed from Tal's Trailhead Wilson's Creek Greenway Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Best place to hike in Springfield area in my opinion. Paved trail with natural trails throughout. Great workout with paths that go up and down hill. Lots of wild flowers, insects, birds, reptiles, and more. Highly recommend!

Very nice trail for a walk; I brought my pup along with me. There are a few branching paths to take. The creek provided a nice water break for my pup after walking for a bit! For the time of day we went, it wasn't too busy. Beautiful walk!

★★★★★ — Forrest , Jul 2023

Very nice walk through local farmland and grasslands. Nice, paved trail throughout which would be good for cycling, walking, running, or any other sport one would want to use on a paved trail.

★★★★★ — Brian , Jan 2023

Great trail. Steep hills in a few areas. Ensure your bike can shift to 1-1... you'll need it! Path covered in water in areas. Be prepared to go through livestock gates--breaks up your rhythm a bit but still an enjoyable ride. Entire trail (out and back) is 11.3 miles.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
