Confirmed from Tanyard Creek Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature area with several waterfalls, a lake and creeks.

I always love hiking around Tanyard Creek Park. It’s accessible to all ages (I’m 59). The trail is well maintained, and it’s so peaceful for being so close to the highway. It was 91 when I was there last, but you’d never know it down along the creek.
Beautiful hike with lots of trail options for a variety of skill levels. The waterfall was a quick walk from parking. It was very lively after overnight storms. We loved the Crazy Willy’s Dole Whip and Vagabond trucks on our return. It’s a great option for moderately active families.
This place is truly amazing! How awesome that this is so close to town and free! Make sure to wear your swimsuits and water shoes. There are countless opportunities to get into the water and cool off. Most of these trails are very easy to navigate. We saw people and children of all ages.
