Confirmed from Tawasentha Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
200 acres of woodlands & gardens, plus an outdoor pool, sport courts & winter sledding spots.
What runners say about Tawasentha Park
“However, the beauty of it caught me off guard because it's large, well maintained, and little chipmunks sit on rocks and nibble.”
“We really appreciate for taking care of this beautiful park.”
“Very peaceful and not crowded.”
I personally love this park because it has so many lovely trails to explore for every age group. It's beautiful in every season of the year.
Took a lovely fall walk in Tawasentha Park. Trails are in good shape, despite the recent rains. Found several geocaches along the way. My only complaint is that I came away with 6 ticks on me. Boo!
Lots of private picnic tables and pavillions! Very peaceful and not crowded. Even saw a beaver on one of the trails
Pleasantly surprised by how great this park was. I plan to check out some of the hikes when it warms up!

“A couple of pretty steep wooded climbs/descents but mostly comfortable for a mile or two around (there are extensions with different colored trails if you want a longer walk).”
“Parking is adequate, and the bathrooms are clean and in good working order that I could see.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
