Confirmed from Albany Pinebush Preserve Trailhead #8 Great Dune's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Albany Pinebush Preserve Trailhead #8 Great Dune
Plenty of trails and pine habitat to explore. Wear bug repellant, as some areas are a bit buggier than the rest. Place had a number of birds and a ton of chipmunks.
Has some shaded and some open areas for a hike. We did the shorter one today. And look forward to doing a longer one another time.
Love this place. Aside from trails, they offer a Discovery Center, guided tours and many other environment protection events.
Nice nature trail. Be aware sometimes there are ticks present. Wear repellent
