Confirmed from Taylor Creek Walking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with swings and playgrounds along a wide-open loop, plus creek and side trails.
What runners say about Taylor Creek Walking Trail
“It’s nestled within a neighborhood, but still hidden enough to be scenic & relaxing while enjoying a walk.”
“Wonderful, serene walking trail along the creek.”
“Has a wide open park area with a big loop thats great for dog walking.”
Taylor Creek Greenway is awesome. So many choices as where to walk or hike. There's a creek that runs through that you can stroll beside. Lots of benches and swings with shade.
Just an awesome walking park that has gravel to walk on. It also has a place to fish which is so nice. Their are alot of benches to stop and take a break. You will also see birdhouse. They have a port a potty if you need to go to the bathroom. This park is so beautiful.
Nice place. Has a wide open park area with a big loop thats great for dog walking. Also has some side trails that take you through the woods and creeks. They're not kept up well so be prepared to take your shoes off and get wet.
The dog and I walk here several times a week. Weekends can be crazy busy, but if you go mid afternoon on a coolish or rainy (snow?) day, you can have the place pretty much to yourself. That's when we like to go.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
