Confirmed from Temecula Creek Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This nice quiet hiking trail is hard to find but worth the effort. The entrance is located East of Butterfield Stage Road and the first stop light south of Temecula Parkway is Channel Street, travel East about 1/4 mile to the entrance on the left (between two houses) down a short driveway to a small parking lot.

Great little trail for bike riding or jogging or walking. Brought two 7 year olds with us on a bike ride. They like the playground. There are 7 parking spots here and 1 handicap. There’s a little water stream. The trail is mostly sand and then turns into small rocks and goes up hill a bit.

Put this place on the top of your list if your kids love to climb!! The trail is so quiet and relaxing, it even has obstacle courses. Plenty of space for dogs to be walked. Downside no bathroom 🤣

Don’t miss the only sign for the entrance. It’s easy to pass by. You park your car near the park. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the end if you go to the left. But to the right (looking at park from parking) goes further (did not find the end) looks like it devided into multiple paths (maybe not part of the park).

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
