Confirmed from Temple Terrace RIVERFRONT Preserve Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Temple Terrace RIVERFRONT Preserve Park
“The lights how and the radio station music making the lights dance is a beautiful sight to see.”
Nature trails are amazing but this comes with all kinds of bugs as one goes into the woods. Nice view of the river but the trail is too close to the water for comfort. It’s nice that there is one like this within the city.
Had a nice early nature walk. I walked all 3 trails and took a get pictures. Very relaxing. Curious to the purpose/intent of having the pavilion at the end of a seemingly random trail in the woods; but it looks like it gets some use.
I like these trails but there’s always so many spiderwebs I just walked through like 15 of them
Nice scenic park to visit, mostly shaded. Riverfront. If you didn't know it was there you wouldn't find it 😉 Usually see a couple gators & a variety of birds. Nice laid-back park to while awat an hour or so.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
