Confirmed from Texas Avenue Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Urban park with baseball, softball & basketball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds & walking track.

The "Texas Avenue Park" entrance is sprinkled with Colorful flowers, grasses, bushes & palms and Welcomes you right in through the Grand Arch! This is a Sweet Little Park in the Medical District of Clear Lake. It is across the street from the Post Office and the Main Entrance to Clear Lake Hospital on Texas Avenue.
One of my favorite parks! During this time of the year they deck it with xmas lights and decorations. The park is super clean. It has a water splash for the kids. A big playground a nice, well maintained trail to enjoy a walk.
Always clean, freshly cut grass and a pleasant place to walk. Beautifully thought out benefits, from flowers, trees, sitting area, Pavillion, tennis courts, baseballfields, water park, playground, extremely clean bathrooms, walking trails and great parking. Great job City of Webster, you did good for your community!
Extremely nice park with playground equipment suitable for younger and older children. Paved sidewalks for walking, nice covered pavilion, and splash pad within walking distance on the sidewalk. Great place for outdoor fun with the entire family!
Trail conditions & character
“Clean restrooms, nice walking path with doggie clean up bins, splash pad for the little ones, play ground.”
“Beat the expensive light prices at all of the other places and come stroll through the park for free and take photos with the lights!”
“The splash pad is separate from the park which is great because my child who is a toddler typically wants to go to the park if he sees it in eyes view!”
“The Big Beautiful Shade trees are a Welcome Respite from the Hot Texas Sun.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
