Confirmed from The Brickyard Trail At The Sandra Frankel Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about The Brickyard Trail At The Sandra Frankel Nature Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (24 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

A very peaceful and quiet beautiful trail/park. Smells amazing during this time of the year.

★★★★★ — Zsuzsanna , May 2023

Easy, flat trail. Pretty short, but can see a surprising amount of wildlife along the way. Watch out for snails on the pathway during the spring! I would advise against visiting during the summer, as it's basically a marsh and you'll get eaten alive by mosquitoes within minutes.

★★★★☆ — Nicole , Apr 2022

Nice little trail, just know that you will have to park somewhere to walk to the trailheads. Only about a 15 minute walk but nice.

★★★★★ — Mary , Oct 2020

Nice well tended trail. Very wide and made of stone dust. A lot of wildlife to be seen

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Flat & fast 2 mentions

“Such a wonderful asset for an intown neighborhood, very level and well groomed trail.”
