Confirmed from Cobbs Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public 109-acre park with a reservoir, sports fields & a hilltop trail that affords city views.
What runners say about Cobbs Hill Park
“Walking the reservoir, finding beautiful queen Anne's lace to press in books in the meadow, fishing in the pond, swimming in the pool and crafting in the community room.”
“The reservoir area is a great walk/run too!”
“This place is great for all kinds of stuff from walking to biking to dog walks to sledding.”
A great park for everyone! Brought my 3 and 5 year old here, and they loved it. Short hiking trails perfect for the young ones as they don't last long usually. The trail besides the basketball court brings you uphill to the tennis courts. Going further up you will see the reservoir.
I grew up playing at Cobbs Hill Park. Walking the reservoir, finding beautiful queen Anne's lace to press in books in the meadow, fishing in the pond, swimming in the pool and crafting in the community room. Coming back after all these years was so wonderful.
If you’re looking for a location to watch a beautiful sunset behind the Rochester city skyline, this is it! It’s a cool place to walk around the reservoir or to just sit and relax on a bench and enjoy the scenery. This is also a great place to take senior pictures and/or wedding photos.
It's a gorgeous park with lots of trails, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a walking loop around the fresh water reservoir (.69 miles a lap and a wonderful spot to walk your dog), and paths for bicycling if you wish.
