Confirmed from The Pond's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about The Pond
Great little park with a Disc golf course and a paved walking path it's entire length. The pond drys up during the warmer months. The south end of the park is across the street from an elk farm. It's possible to view them from the park. The park is well treed with good bird viewing at times...then there's the elk too.
My kids and I enjoy walking or biking down the paved trail that leads to the pond. The water is not at all suitable for swimming! There is a picnic table (not covered), a park bench, and a covered picnic area (with a bbq) when you reach the pond. The paved trail goes past the pond a bit further, then dead ends.
Awesome park with great walks and trails. Also they now have disc golf. Hell yeah. I always wanted a disc golf course at this park. I wish I could help donate my time for the effort. Great job!!!!!!!
Quiet...the only reason for a four was I wish the trail around the pond had been cleared more. Lots if berry bushes, wear pants and long sleeves.
