Confirmed from Thomas B. George Jr. Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Thomas B. George Jr. Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (363 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“This is a lovely and accessible playground,I did NOT checkout the bathrooms but the space was relatively clean and mostly untagged the rubberized ground cover is a terrific choice.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“) I Also loved that the benches were shaded with an awning to keep in mind the adults sitting and watching their kids ( thank youu), and the bench material doesn't get super hot.”

I am so glad I googled this park. My first visit today was amazing. This park is so big and my son was so excited to be here. I met moms, grandmothers, dads and physical therapists. I love the comfort of the ground beneath the feet and the different levels of games per children’s height.

Really solid local playground with excellent picnic area and restrooms. The restrooms were pretty standard public bathrooms and were perfectly acceptable. The playground was very thoughtfully designed and was fun to explore.

★★★★☆ — Eliza , Apr 2021

Always a great place to be. The area is fenced in with a big kids side and a little kid's side. You cannot see your kids from anywhere, so if you're the parent who always wants eyes on them, you will have to follow them around. But it always feels really safe. There is a biking path and fields nearby.

Great park, awesome views, nature trail, wheelchair accessible. Kids can play with their parents, the playground is accessible for all. There's also a mist sprinkler during the Summer to keep them kids cool. Pavilion is nice and there are restrooms at this location. My children love this park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
