Beautiful and close hiking gem adorned with bridge of iron lace, suspension bridge swinging over a nostalgic place. Nice trails with great views of the winding Iowa River and vertical limestone faced bluff. Great short hike with family and friends!!!
Google Maps incorrectly shows the park being on the north side of the river, when it is actually on the south side (north is private property). But it is an interesting park with a historic bridge, neat limestone bluffs, and some hiking trails and boat ramp.
Nice short trails. Lots of parking. No restrooms. No playground. No picnic tables. Just a quiet place by the river.
This was such a cool place to visit. Rock skipping off the water and hiking around across wire bridges.
